-WHAT'S THIS ? ------------------------------------------------

The enclosed public release of the Cannabinatic Screensaver
shows interesting looks (4 animated and 4 non-animated types
of hemp-leafs moving before 7 different backgrounds) and facts
(85 out of thousands arguments, facts and quotes) about a
Miracle Plant known as "Hemp".

-WHO NEEDS A CANNABINATIC SCREENSAVER ? --------------------------

Cannabis / Hemp is really something special - on one hand it's
one of the most versatile natural products of the world -
on the other hand it's also one of the most scaring substances -
we all know really frightning stories about it, don't we ?

The official discussion about this plant often has (in my eyes)
nothing to do with reality, but more with "if we admit it's
more or less harmless, we will make a fool of ourselves because
of the stories we told them for nearly 100 yrs. now..."

To insert some FACTS in the discussion and to inform people
about some things they might never have heard before, I started
to create this ScreenSaver one day. I hope it will be one more
raindrop in the international liberation campaign to start a
heavy rainshower one day - after which legal, self-determined use
of natural substances doesn't bring you into jail and doesn't
kill your carreer for NOTHING anymore.


One word to the Drug-Police and all those hobby-lawyers:
No, I won't be surprised if the police visits me for some type
of "routine check" ... because I know about your use of raising
your "success statistics", I'm not silly enough to store any
hemp at my home or even my office... ;-)

* TRANSFER TO MY BANK ACCOUNT
  It is VERY important that the bank papers reflect your identity
  (1. your email address; 2. your name and/or company name;

  I will receive the full fee without discounts. Don't worry about
  sending cash in the mail, just fold it into a sheet of paper so
  that you can't see the money through the envelope).

Important: if you want to receive the Software on a disk by
regular mail, please add $ 4,- for shipping. It's really *not*
possible for me to pay that by myself at this low registration fee.

-HOW TO INSTALL ? ----------------------------------------------

1) simply copy all files named "Cann*.*" into your
   <windows>\System directory ("System32" under Windows/NT).
2) Right click on the desktop to bring up the Display Settings
   dialog and then select the "Screen Saver" tab.
3) use the pull down list to find "Cannabinatic" an apply it
   as your new screensaver.
4) ready to go !

HINT: You should configure Windows95 for enabling the maximum
      colors your System supports (eq True Color).
      If not, the display could eventually be frightening !


-HOW TO UNINSTALL ? --------------------------------------------

Just delete all files named "Cann*.*" from your Windows directory.
Registry pollution: NONE !

The Cannabinatic Screensaver is copyrighted (c) by Richard Fellner,
Vienna, Austria.
You acknowledge that the Program is provided "as is" and
"with all faults, defects and errors" and that all use of
the Program is at your own full risk.
I hereby grant you the right to provide this program on CD-ROMs,
Shareware-disks, in shops or through networks as long as
a) no money (for the program itself) is taken b) each file of
the original ZIP-file is included and c) you informed me about it.

28.09.1997: v1.1: fixed "hanging" app when missing CannData.bin
                  (which was the file "Cannab.is" in version 1.0)
11.11.1997: v1.2: - fixed "hanging" of the Screensaver under certain
                    circumstances unter Windows 95 and esp. Win/NT
                    when trying to stop it.
